Plant Based

“Plant Based” is another term that is another unfortunate deviation from the word VEGAN because of fear of association with animal rights. I see no labels identifying foods as “plant based” at Trader Joe’s. “Oh, you’re a VEGAN? What do you eat?” “Plants!” Oh that sounds appetizing.

i do not know why the word pythagorean was changed to vegetarian and vegan but it was a good change because pythagorian sounded like belonging to a cult.vegan as a word by itself or in essence is ultimate freedom.plant based leaves room for including animal products that suits some people to use.and others think they will be stigmatized by the word vegan.if people only realized the morality and ethics of the issue all this word play would be seen as unessential.
