The Cafe Gratitude, Gracias Madre Betrayal of Vegans Is Worse Than You Think

The Cafe Gratitude, Gracias Madre Betrayal of Vegans Is Worse Than You Think – So Think Permanent Boycott!!!

It is ironic, to say the least, that through the patronage of vegans, the owners of Cafe Gratitude and Gracias Madre restaurants are now able to afford the purchase the Be Love Farm in Vacaville, California where they can retire to a life of raising animals, selling their secretions as cheese, and slitting their throats, and selling their body parts as “meat”. That’s not very loving of Be Love.

Matthew and Terces Englehart are telling us that this is part of their loving growth process and that they are looking forward to eating flesh after a forty year abstention.

Ordering from the Cafe Gratitude menu was like making a statement of positive affirmation… with dishes called “I am abundant”… “I am warm-hearted”… “I am thriving”…”I am dazzling” …a little on the “new-agey” side, but positive… We never saw the fine print, that proceeds will go to financing animal slaughter.

That’s bad enough, and enough to make us all want a refund, a boycott, some kind of class action lawsuit. But it is worse – so much worse!

This isn’t just the case of some small-time restaurant owners surprising their vegan clientele with the shocking action of opening a quaint little family abattoir and flesh-peddling “farm”. It turns out that the Engleharts are central characters in a big-money global conspiracy to promote increased ranching and “meat” eating as the solutions to climate change and environmental destruction, and their guru is none other than buffoon Allan Savory, a self-admitted environmental disaster, whose past bungling has resulted in the “mistaken” murder of tens of thousands of elephants, and whose current folly of calling for increased animal agriculture to address climate change has been completely discredited by the world’s most respected climate specialists.

On one side, there is the vegan solution to climate change, supported by the world’s leading ecologists, who scoff at the unsavory Savory plan. On the other side are industry money interests who have created a stellar team bound to distract from the truth. People with an appetite – and profit motive – for flesh and blood will stop at nothing.

“Kiss the Ground” is an organization co-founded by Ryland Englehart, son of the owners of Cafe Gratitude and Gracias Madre. Its advisers include Allan Savory, Marianne Williamson, Jason Mraz, and David Bronner of the soap company that really needs to clean up its act related to animal and environmental issues.

Donors to “Kiss the Ground” include Al Gore – Generational Foundation, the Jason Mraz Foundation, and Cafe Gratitude – Grateful Bowl Donation Fund, or perhaps put more simply – customers, you, and me.

The foundation of this rancher scam is something called “regenerative agriculture” which is based on the hocus pocus theories of elephant-killer Allan Savory involving rotational grazing.

Here’s the link to the analysis of Savory’s scheme by world-renowned climate specialist Dr. Ronert Goodland that completely rips it to shreds, and exposes the environmental irresponsibility of associates and supporters of Savory, which also include Bill McKibben and HSUS’ Humane Society International:

People have different reasons for veganism. Some reasons are better than others. But who is to judge? I know these people and got the feeling they were just playing with being vegan; starting their first restaurant, which i worked at. They were into the healthy side first it seems. They thought raw vegan food would be very healthy and spiritual. I don’t remember any talk of loving or respecting animals. I am sure the love was at least partially there, but a “true” vegan knows the real love and compassion. It doesn’t lessen with time either. There are no ex-vegans.
