How could a tragedy of the magnitude of the Gulf disaster occur, and could it have been avoided? We talk about the bizarre environmental exemptions granted by your gov-enron-ment, and who is really suffering in the Gulf, with guest Bill Snape, senior counsel for the Center for Biological Diversity. He also offers advice on how we can help frogs and what is imperiling them. Dr. Anteneh Roba, president of the International Fund for Africa, has just returned from Africa and the well-deserved hero treatment he has received because of his work saving newborn babies, but also injrecognition of his life-saving work on behalf of all life. While in Africa, Dr. Roba participated in establishing the first-ever Ethiopian Vegan Association (and connecting it to an international network), creating a new horse sanctuary, and even saving a dying woman’s life on the flight home to Houston from Ethiopia.
